Celebrate Earth Day & Science within the Territory on land, sea and air with a full day event including a March, Science Fair and Environmental Literacy Program. Details of exact location to be forthcoming.
Why? Science protects the health of our communities, the safety of our families, the education of our children, the foundation of our economy and jobs, and the future we all want to live in and preserve for coming generations.
Who? We are a collaborative group of citizens coming together to promote science literacy within the territory including UVI Marine Science Program, VI Sisters and The Environmental Association of St. Thomas/ St. John.Organised by: Virgin Island Sisters
The Women’s March on Washington inspired us, the women of St. Thomas, to stand up to injustices everywhere and proclaim that Women’s Rights are Human Rights. VI Sisters is a dedicated group of women and men banding together to petition–through peaceful demonstration and protest–our government officials to fight for those in need and for those who cannot fight for themselves.
