Fish Bar, St. Thomas | Welcomes all SeaFoodies

Fish Bar St. Thomas USVIFish Bar :

Fish Bar opened its doors this past July – Formerly known as Bryans Bar, Northside Bistro, and most recently B N R – the Fish Bar team wanted to bring something totally different to the space while making a point to honor the decades of memories made on 15 Hull Bay Road – a minute up the road from the community beach – Hull Bay.

Angelina Torchia, Kenny Claxton, & Tyler Beckstead joined forces to create a seafood focused menu, craft cocktail program, and fast-casual concept true to the Northside of Saint Thomas. Fish Bar welcomes all : off the beach (cover-ups please as per VI laws), or guests that want to be wine + dine’d for special nights out. While transforming the building the team wanted to keep a very clean, casual approach to the space.

The food menu were created to showcase Chef/ Owner Kenny Claxton’s love and appreciation for the ocean-to-table process. FB has the privilege of working with local farmers + fishermen to keep our plates locally sourced, and fresh as possible. “We are beyond thankful for the people in the community that believe in our concept and chose to sell to us – we could not do it without their support and the product they provide. It is a dream come true to have built these relationships early on” explains co-owner Angelina Torchia “feeding the community with things grown, caught, and created by others in the community is a pillar of our business”.

‘Tails —> The FB take on cocktails : Co-owner Tyler Beckstead is the man behind the robust craft cocktail program. “We offer it all – rum & coke, a nice cold Heineken, or a creative cocktail. Throughout our ‘tails menu you will see infusions, shrubs, and fresh squeezed juices, all done in-house daily – fresh as can be” Torchia notes. The Ay Papi, Sea Smoke, and Soulshine are menu must-haves in our opinion.

Fish Bar will be expanding in early 2023 with a market, located below the restaurant with expanded hours. It will offer poke deli style, bespoke wine + liquor options , and other creative grab and go options.

The restaurant is open Wednesday thru Sunday 3-9 PM, and offers happy hour specials 3-5 PM. They do not offer reservations and operate first come – first serve. Our pro tip is to dine early to guarantee a spot on the patio that overlooks Hull Bay.
